Exceptional set of a large Seated Buddha and a Pair of Disciples.
The seated Buddha in dhyanasana has his left hand placed atop his lap while his right hand in the bhumisparshamudra gesture that refers to the episode in which the Buddha is ‘calling the earth to witness’. He is wearing an elaborate samghati robe densely decorated with flower heads, the face having a serene expression with downcast eyes beneath arched eyebrows and above an aquiline nose and full lips, flanked by a pair of elongated earlobes, all hair in tight knots topped with a flame shaped ushnisha.

Two Thai Gilt Bronze Figure of Kneeling Worshippers each figure depicted with both hands clasped in anjalimudra, wearing a samghati decorated with floral patterns and a shaw draped over the shoulder, the face having a calm expression, flanked by a pair of elongated earlobes, set atop a rectangular recessed plinth decorated with a leaf band and floral scrolls.

The large Buddha will perfectly fit with the Burmese stand (see ref.: T300.)
